Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or otherwise using the Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. We may update these Terms from time to time as described in the “Changes to These Terms” section below.

2. Service Description

Dojii measures and trains 6 cognitive domains — memory, speed, language, spatial, reasoning, and focus. The Services include an assessment, a library of training games, daily training plans, and progress tracking such as belts, Ki, and streaks. Features may change over time, and certain features require a paid subscription.

3. Eligibility and Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required by your local law) to use the Services. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Services only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms.

4. Important Disclaimer

Dojii is provided for general training, educational, and entertainment purposes only. Belts, Ki, percentiles, and insights are automated estimates based on your gameplay and may be incomplete or inaccurate.

Dojii does not provide medical, psychological, diagnostic, or other professional advice, and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. We make no guarantee that using the Services will produce any particular improvement in cognitive performance or real-world outcomes. Consult a qualified professional for any health-related questions or concerns.

5. Accounts and Security

• You are responsible for the activity that occurs under your account.
• You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.
• You agree to notify us promptly if you suspect any unauthorized use of or access to your account.
• You may delete your account at any time from the Profile screen in the app.

6. Your Content and Data

You retain ownership of the information you provide to us. You grant Dojii a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and analyze that information as needed to operate, maintain, personalize, and improve the Services, as further described in our Privacy Policy. You represent that you have the right to provide any information you submit, and you agree not to submit unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.

7. Subscriptions and Billing

Dojii offers optional paid subscriptions (weekly and annual plans) that unlock premium features. Subscriptions are sold as In-App Purchases presented through our paywall provider (Superwall) and processed by the Apple App Store (or the applicable app store on your platform). You can purchase or manage a plan from Profile → Manage Subscription in the app, including during onboarding unlock.

• Subscription title, duration, and pricing are shown in the app before you purchase.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID (or platform account) at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account will be charged for renewal through your app store.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID subscription settings, or open Manage Subscription on the Profile screen in the app.
• You can restore previous purchases from Restore Purchases on the Profile screen.
• Renewals, cancellations, refunds, and billing disputes are governed by the applicable app store terms. Unless required by law, we do not directly issue store-billed refunds.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, exploit, or attempt to disrupt or interfere with the Services.
• Use automation, bots, or scraping in a way that harms the stability or integrity of the Services, or attempt to manipulate scores, rankings, or progression.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data.
• Use the Services in violation of any applicable law or the rights of others.

9. Intellectual Property

The Services, including all games, software, content, designs, logos, and branding (excluding information you provide), are owned by Dojii or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from any part of the Services except as expressly permitted.

10. Third-Party Services

The Services rely on and integrate with third-party services, including app stores, infrastructure providers, payment platforms, and AI providers. Your use of the app is also subject to applicable third-party platform terms, including the Apple Media Services Terms for iOS and the Google Play Terms of Service for Android where applicable. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we determine it is necessary for security, legal, or operational reasons. Upon termination, the rights granted to you under these Terms will cease.

12. Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dojii and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Services. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD $100.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Services after the updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction in which Dojii operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, unless your local law requires otherwise.
